Poured limestone can be finished in a few different effects and textures. Our photo gallery may offer some insight into these finishes. The most popular finish is the 'rough' scratched finish, which allows resemblance to traditional limestone finishes.
A variety of patterns can be cut into the limestone finish. Patterns are discussed with customers and chosen carefully to compliment the house and landscape. Patterns can be cut with a grinder or a v-joint. Grinder cutting is done the following day after the concrete has been poured. It is suitable for modern homes as it gives a sharp look to the edges. V-joint cutting is suited to older style homes (heritage, cottage) and is done on the same day the concrete is poured. Some customers prefer a specific tinge to the limestone, ie. less or more yellow in colour. This can be adjusted as per customer preference.
It is highly recommended to seal poured limestone areas. The professional sealer will protect the surface from staining and wear. This is a service offered by CS Concreting and may be discussed with customers
